I'm retired, not dead. Doing things I always wanted to but hadn't made time for. Encouraging you to do likewise. Check out my FREE newsletter and listen to stories and podcasts with cool guests. What have you got to lose? Carpe diem!
Frequently, when I publish Teri’s Doing It!, others say I inspire them, that they can’t imagine doing some of the things I do, going the places I go. They don’t usually say at your age but it’s implied.
Why do I Do It!? There’s a mental tick-tock cadence in my head that tells me sternly:
Time waits for no one, and
Every day I have less of it left.
So, I’ve made a list - an It’s Not Too Late list - of things that I plan to do before my time runs out. Whenever that is.
You should be hearing the same clock. Whether you’re 70 or 30, you have an expiration date too. One life. That’s all we get. None of us should lie in a hospital bed at the end crying,“It’s too late. Why didn’t I do it when I had time?”
If you’re reading this, you still have time.
Your It’s Not Too Late list won’t be like mine but make no mistake, we all have that list whether we admit it or not. At the end, I want mine to be short. Very short.
So, I’m seizing opportunities to do things that I’d regret not having done and hopefully, motivating you. Let’s work through our Doing It! lists together.
Tell me, what’s on your list?
