Do you have a favorite destination or campground? This, so far, is mine. A Harvest Host site, Copper Belt Wines, 20 miles out of Baker City, Oregon.
Will you share it with me and my readers? As a relatively recent boon-docker (or is it boondocker or Boon Docker?) and Harvest Host fan, I’ve decided that the best way to enjoy Harvest Hosts is as a 2-day max break from more populated campgrounds with full hookups (I do like my showers and shore power too).
I’m also eager to read your tips and words to the wise.
Maybe one day your favorite place will be featured in Teri’s Doing It! That is, if the price of gas doesn’t keep going up. Harumph.
Thanks, friends!
PS Don’t tell anyone, but gas is much less expensive in Idaho right now than in Washington and Eastern Oregon. We filled up for $3.89 here this last weekend after paying over $4.25 a gallon west of here.
Yes! Happy to share. Aranaway farms in Grants Pass. It’s a Morgan horse ranch. Loved being with the horses as I know you will. The owner is a sweet woman, the scenery amazing. Try it out! And I’m taking notes on your locations! Thank you for sharing.
When you go to Minnesota stop at Custer State Park in the Dakotas. It’s really beautiful
